[ON HOLD] [NL] Development on v1.xx Groningen

This week I started with the city of Groningen for ETS2, the Tregion map.

Here some previews of what to expect.

Nice, this is gonna be awesome when it is finished because i live here. When you get to that side, are you gonna model the suikerfabriek?

We will see what we add if we het there. The focus is now on the ‘Zuidelijke Ring’ to get connections to the A7 and A28 and on the industrial area ‘Zuid-Oost’.

Nice, Are you even gonna model 'het julieanaplein' with all roadworks or take some standerd prefabs? Because it would be awesome to drive with your truck over such a large crossing.

We will use a standard crossing at first. When the modeling team has time we want to have it custom made.

Works for me. Because you can see the original country names in the map, is the game gonna think a garage in Groningen is in Scandinavie or something? Because that would mean we can place and use "lzv's" at the garage in Groningen.

The game doesn’t work like that :D. You have def files which show the country.
Currently working somewhere in Germany... ;)

O that's the way it works, thanks. Didn't know that. But does that means we never get to drive "lzv's" acros the highway?

As far as I know, double trailers are allowed in The Netherlands. I don't entirely know how it works so I have to ask SCS how we can enable it. I thought it had something to do with the Baltics DLC... I will leave an update when I have more information.

Double trailers are allowed in the Netherlands but they are not suitable for all the roads. They are only allowed on the highways and specific secondary roads leading to industry area.
